Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will achieve a pre-intermediate level of French both in vocabulary and grammar. Then they will be able to read, translate and make slightly difficult French texts. Students will be able to communicate and express own opinion.
The target level of French is A2- (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Prerequisites

To the extent of obligatory and optional subject of „French for Begginers I“ and French for Begginers II

Planned learning activities and teaching methods


Grammar and vocabulary is practised in an ineractive way, with emphasis on conversation. Development of communication and listening skills using interactive audio-visual technologies.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

To be able to get their credits, students need to attend vlase regulary (max. 3 absences/semester), do homework and actively participate in the lessons.

8. Souvenirs de fete- French holidays
9. Qu´est-ce qu´on peut faire?- personal independent pronouns in imperative, modal verbs; orders and banning
10. Petites annonces- modal verbs; advertisements
11. Qu´est-ce qu´on lui offre?- personal independent pronouns in indicative; suggestion, accepting and refusing suggestion
12. Etre le candidat idéal- inteviewing job applicants
13. Enquete dans la rue- pronoun "en"; hobbies

Aims

Mastering vocabulary to the extent of 800 words, basic grammar for speaking in the Present, Past and Future Tenses.
Reading skills, translating a simpler text, simple topic communication, speaking and writing skills.
Level A1 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
