Original Abstract

In this paper the contemporary of linking between structural stability analysis and design code procedures are discussed especially from the point of view of the probabilistic approaches that in general are assigning for resulting specified level of structure reliability. The presented probabilistic parameter study illustrate the oinfluence of various partial safety factors of loads and material upon the corresponding dimension and reliability index of steel compression member. The statistical and probabilistic approaches present an efficient instrument for verification and calibration of lucid provisions used in design practice.
