Original Abstract

Globalization is long-term process preceded by the process of internationalization. These two processes mutually influence each other, they can not be clearly divided. The understanding of these processes should be the fundamental pre-requisite for the building of the competitiveness of the Czech companies. The paper focuses on the situation in the Czech Republic from the point of the activity of these processes in the strategic decision-making of the Czech companies and the increasing of their competitiveness in the global scope.
