Original Abstract

To investigate properties of real switched- capacitor networks or general switched networks used e.g. in power electronics, special and powerful simulation tools must be used. General simulation programs (like Spice or Microcap) cannot be used if ideal switches are used as models of real switches to speed up the simulation. This paper deals with methods used for the time-domain analysis of real switched networks. Methods for linear SC (switched-capacitor) circuits, for non-linear general switched networks with externally controlled switches, and for linear and non-linear switched networks with internally controlled switches are described.
