Original Abstract

The influence of the broken rotor bars on the transient run-up of induction machine is investigated in this paper. Induction machines are used as a drive of industrial applications, etc. fans, pumps, machine tools, press and the others. The RMxprt program was used for development of a 3-phase induction machine design and identification of all analyzed machine parameters. For the certain types of broken bars the induce voltage, torque, speed and the phase current is studied depending on the slip.
