Original Abstract

The paper deals with an extension of a recent multi-objective self-organizing migrating algorithm (MOSOMA) for problems having general number of objectives. Moreover, we propose an extension of a well-known spread metric which is important for comparing various algorithms. The performance of the MOSOMA, a non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II) and a strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm 2 (SPEA2) is compared on a suite of benchmark problems. The application of the MOSOMA algorithm is demonstrated on a dielectric filter design.

Keywords

MOSOMA, multi-objective benchmark problems, multi-objective spread, dielectric layered band-pass filter.
