Original Abstract

The present paper deals with the sensitivity analysis of beam resistance with open steel cross-section. The introduction of the paper describes the calculation of elastic resistance according to the theory of elasticity. The sensitivity analysis of elastic resistance is evaluated in the form of Spearman rank order correlation coefficients. It has been found that the material characteristics, in particular the yield point of steel, influence the resistance the most. In the conclusion of the paper, there are discussed advantages and disadvantages of various sensitivity analysis methods.
