Original Abstract

Rate constants of unimolecular dissociation of molecules SF6 , SF5 , SF4 , SF3 ,SF2 have been computed by means of Kassel integrals interpolating both the values of low pressure and high pressure limits. The collision theory has been used for determination of low pressure rate constants , high pressure rate constants have been calculated by statistical adiabatic channel model. We have used obtained values to the study of the influence of different values of reaction rate constants on the kinetic composition of the SF6 system during the extinction process in the switching arc.
