Original Abstract

Sustainability is a popular buzzword nowadays. In order to achieve sustainability, solutions are often labeled with words such as "ecological" and "eco-friendly". Cities around the world struggle to implement new concepts and solutions to overpopulation and urban sprawl. Many of them tend to use the most modern and "green" solutions. The purpose of this presentation/article is to articulate and stress that there is indeed a significant difference between "green" approaches. Solutions that may appear attractive can have worse results than century-old concepts, once believed obsolete and un-ecological.
