Original Abstract

Insulation silica is produced mostly concurrently with dense silica, which causes many problems, especially that of limited capacity of production. Firing time is approximately 14 days. It is necessary to use an agent of mineralization as the burn-out agents influence the firing regime significantly. The principles arising from the properties and behaviour of silica, particularly its transformations in the heat into the various modifications, apply for the production of silica.
