Original Abstract

The diagnostics of transformer condition is more and more important during recent years. One of the most important diagnostic method is the analysis of the dissolved gases in oil (DGA) especially methods defined in standards IEC 60599 and IEEE Std C57.104-1991. This paper describes three DGA (C.E.G.B method, IEC method and Rogers method) methods, and consequently their extension using the fuzzy logic for the purpose of an increase of reliability and accuracy of results. Fuzzified methods, which were applied on test data, reached accuracy in range of 70 - 78%.
