Original Abstract

The paper deals with modeling of the distribution of the magnetic field close to the non-ferromagnetic substances. Non-ferromagnetic cylinders were placed in the center of the cube shaped static magnetic field B0=4.7 T. Material of the specimen react with the static magnetic field and create a local changes of this field close to the specimen surface. Changes of the static magnetic field hold the possibilities to calculate the magnetic susceptibility of used material. In this article will be discuss what under conditions is possible to use 1D and 2D method. Model results enable to set up the limits of used method. Consequently, the influence of the relation between length and diameter of the specimen on the accuracy of the magnetic susceptibility calculation is examined. As a specimen materials were used the varied size aluminum, platinum, bismuth and copper cylinders.
