Original Abstract

The case study deals with the use of Business Intelligence tools for the support of decision-making processes of the Faculty of Business and Management, University of Technology in Brno. It describes the use of these tools for predicting development of the number of students. Application of the described algorithms brings more effectiveness for the processes of planning capacities of academic staff and more effective drawing up of timetables, which allows improvement in use of computer labs capacities.
