Experimental studies of acoustic emission and current partial discharges in relanex and remicanite insulating foils have been performed under applied constant and ramp voltage. Partial discharges occur only for increasing/decreasing bias voltage higher than threshold voltage about 300 V.Time delay between PD and AE signals can be used to determine the position of PD source.
