Original Abstract

Functional capital market is one of the fundamental elements in the country. In the Czech Republic in 1990 were established all institutional and basic legislative pre-requisites of its function. In spite of the fact that the mentioned pre-requisites were formed, it is not possible to say that the Czech capital market is functional from the point of the allocation of free financial sources and valuation of the financial assets. In the submitted thesis we are involved in the analysis of the level of effectiveness of the Czech capital market just from the mentioned point of view and prediction of the future development.
