Original Abstract

For correct design of anchoring lengths of FRP reinforcement it is necessary to determine the properties of the contact between reinforcement bar and concrete. First of all cohesion is dependent on bars surface modification and therefore whole set of experiments was performed using FRP reinforcements (with different types of surfacing). The aim of this research was to find the surface modification with the best possible characteristics. The influence of the concrete quality was observed, too.
