Original Abstract

According to European education trends expressed in the Bologna Declaration the Brno University of Technology in Czech Republic shires to give its educational program a modular structure. Existing five-year study program for engineering students of electrical engineering, communication and information technology was divided into two levels, BEng. Degree study program and subsequently MEng. Degree study program. Therefore three-term general course of physics had to been changed. This paper is intended to present the result of this process and accompanying difficulties caused by the nature of the problem but also by various group interests.
