Original Abstract

The paper deals with a technique of the transient analysis of linear mixed lumped-distributed circuits in a Matlab environment. Distributed parts represent multiconductor transmission lines, generally nonuniform and under nonzero initial conditions. In principle a solution is formulated using the modified nodal admittance equation method in the frequency domain. Then an improved FFT-based method of the numerical inversion of Laplace transforms using quotient-difference algorithm of Rutishauser is applied to gain a solution in the time domain.
