Original Abstract

Due to the shortage of quality aggregate and the protection of environment the recycling technologies are becoming more important. The bad state of the lower class roads connected with bad bearing capacity and strucural damages led in Czech Republic in the last two decades to the increment of cold in situ recycling. On the other hand the milled asphalt layers are processed at the mixing plants. The article gives the whole overview of the situation of recycling technologies of asphalt mixtures in Czech Republic. Both in place and in plant technologies are described together with the issued regulations and standards. The comparison with other European countries is mentioned with the recommendations for the improvement of the nowaday situation.
