Original Abstract

Reptation dynamics and percolation theory are combined in an effort to predict behavior of collagen I filled with hydroxyapatite nanoparticles simulating extracellular formation of bone tissue. Critical concentration of HAP as well as the self assembly of collagen tripplehelices into microfibrils were identified and predicted using the proposed model.
