Original Abstract

Polysilanes are most often obtained by Wurtz reductive coupling of organosilanes with sodium metal in refluxing toluene. Therefore the metal is easily distributed throughout the solution. Unfortunately, the yields of polymers and the reproducibility of the reaction are usually quite poor. A problem that we solved by using new methods and procedures. The aim of our work is to synthesize new model of polysilanes attached directly to chromophores throughout a Suzuki coupling and investigate their electrical properties.
