Original Abstract

In this paper the Current Follower Transconductance Amplifier (CFTA) and Current Mirror and Inverter (CMI) active elements for the realization of the current-mode analog blocks, are introduced. The proposed internal bipolar structure of the CFTA and the realization of the CMI is presented. The usage of these active elements is shown on the design of the current-mode universal MISO (multi-input-single-output) type frequency filter. The proposed circuit structure emloying three CMIs and three CFTAs. The filter enables realizing not only the basic functions such as the low- (LP), band- (BP) and high-pass (HP) but also the band-stop (BS) and all-pass (AP) responses. The properties of the filter proposed were verified by sensitivity and AC analyses in the PSPICE program.
