Original Abstract

This article describes the texture analysis of the retinal nerve fibre layer in colour retinal photographs using grey level run length matrix. The feature selection and classification using support vector machine method is also presented and evaluated on image database. The results show that there exist suitable texture parameters for discrimination between the glaucomatous and healthy tissues.
