Original Abstract

In this paper, an adaptive thresholding method based on the fuzzy entropy classification algorithm is proposed. The purpose of this work is to segment an infrared image more effectively. The theoretical basis of the fuzzy entropy algorithm is contained in this article, with an improved method of that algorithm carefully described. The method is then applied to a NIR image to detect the veins of a hand. The final result is demonstrated in the end of this paper.
