Original Abstract

Auto-fluorescent (AF) and near-infrared (IR) images are used for the diagnosis of several eye diseases, e.g. age related macular degeneration (ARMD) or glaucoma. To use information from both images, the registration process is needed, because these images are recorded in time sequence with possible movement of patient eye. This article describes pre-processing of images and method for automatic landmarks detection, which can be used for AF - IR image registration.
