Original Abstract

The proposed method is based on complex wavelet representation for zooming medical images. The images are decomposed by the complex-valued wavelet transform, a coefficients in wavelet domain are extended and reconstructed by inverse wavelet transform. For precise zooming, edges of images are localized and preserved while areas of relatively small changes are smoothed.
