Original Abstract

The contribution deals with a construction of a higher electric scooter with a low-voltage asynchronous drive. It describes basic electric and mechanical parameters. The scooter was constructed using some experiences of a previously constructed electric bike. The attention is paid to the mechanical construction of the scooter – especially placement of batteries, inverter, motor and solution of the mechanical gear. Further the mechanical control of the drive electronic regulation elements (throttle and regenerative brake) is showed. The choice of machine number of poles, its size and the voltage-frequency relations are solved in the contribution. The electrical parameters of the power 3-phase inverter with MOS-FETs and basic parameters of its digital control system are noticed. This system realises the torque control optimising the efficiency of the system motor + inverter in a wide range of speed and torque. Reached user parameters of the scooter and experiences with its using are presented. A comparison with the previous construction of an electric bike is given. The main problems and further development tasks are explained in the conclusions.
