Original Abstract

Field weakening control in connection with Predictive direct stator flux control (PDSFC) algorithm is presented in this article. The field weakening must be used to operate above nominal speed since the voltage limitation is reached. The simple extension of PDSFC algorithm enables to include this feature. The resulting algorithm is simple and computationally unassuming. The proposed scheme is verified through the simulation experiments on a model of AC induction motor.
