English abstract

The dissertation thesis deals with backward disturbing influences of light sources connected in illuminating sys-tems on supply network which is a part of mutual interference within low-frequency sphere. Concretely it is focused on the light sources and illuminating systems consumption in a steady state, associated with generating of current harmonic components, its propagation in the supply network and with the impact on the typical supply electrical sys-tem operation. The first part targets the consumption analysis of all commonly used or perspective types of light sources for a general use in the fundamental and steady state along with sine-wave nominal supply voltage. The part of the study is the light sources working principle analysis which is essential for setting the values of consumption characteristics and its range according to the type, design and dimensioning of light source. For setting the range of the consumption characteristics values regarding possible technical solutions, the light source correct operation, valid standards and economic efficiency, there are used simplified calculations based on the assumed instantaneous value behaviour of demand current, mathematical simulations of lamps consumption on assembled models and consumption measure-ment on the existing light sources. Hereafter the results of the measurement and the evaluation of impact the supply voltage harmonic distortion on the consumption of each light source type are pointed. Following part of the dissertation deals with summation of harmonic current components of light sources and its propagation within the three-phase low-voltage supply network and with the impact of overall illuminating systems demand on the supply conductors loading, losses in the supply network and the voltage distortion in the point of cou-pling. The gain of the dissertation thesis is the overall analysis of the light sources demand and concomitant low-frequency phenomena relating to light sources connection into waste three-phase illuminating systems, with creating basis for setting of presumable current and power demand character of illuminating system and its immediate impact on the supply network based on the used types of light sources, voltage parameters in the point of connection, configu-ration and topology of illuminating systems and based on the circumstances of the connection to the supply network.
