Original Abstract

Presented thesis is based on utilisation of ammonium aluminium sulphate (alum), the product of the uranium mines saving. It is suggested to use alum for ettringite preparation. For this reaction suspension of lime, saturated solution of alum and fresh water is used. Obtained product is analysed by XRD and SEM. Ammonium is realised during reaction. The realised ammonium remains in filtrate. The ammonium amount is analysed by titration method, Nesslerization method and indophenol method. Obtained results are compared by EU laws. The method of ammonium removing from filtrate was suggested - distillation with steam. The distilled ammonium can be used for producing of ammonium sulphate (commercial fertilizer). In connection with ammonium sulphate producing two types of technological schema were suggested. Enviromental aspects were studied by leaching tests. Solid products were leached in distilled water. Obtained leaches were analysed by ICP-OES. Several aplications of prepared solid products were presented.
