In the paper, the design of Vivaldi antennas operating in Ka band and W band of millimeter waves is described. Attention is turned to the impedance bandwidth of the antennas. Discussions are focused on the transition of the design in the Ka band to the design in the W band. The designs are supported by simulations in CST Microwave Studio and compared with measurements.
