Original Abstract
The aim of this article is to examine the behaviour of fibre concrete with polypropylene fibers after exposure to higher temperatures. Testing samples were prepared from concrete with polypropylene fiber reinforcement which is recommened as protection of concrete structures against fire. The test samples were heated up in accordance with different thermal curves to the gradual increase to the final temperature. Also samples were heated up with shock load for a final temperature. Microscopy and macroscopy variations, i.e. physico-mechanical properties, of the testing samples were observed after heating and subsequently the results were compared with referential concrete, which was not heated.
