Original Abstract

In the branch of data acquisition and processing there is a wide offer of software means available. Digital data processing can be performed using ready-to-use systems or by own original procedures. Professional systems should be used with good knowledge of their functions and limitations of their application. This aspects is appropriate to consider within pedagogic aspects of the problem and students education. In the field of Fourier analysis there is possible to follow up with Fourier series theory and using it pass to discrete Fourier analysis. The next steps can be pass to complex numbers field, further use of "built-in" FFT functions (e.g. using software MathCad®) and application of "windowing". After these steps there is possible to come up to data processing of real processes on ICE, vehicles and another machines and employ acquired experience at research and development.
