Original Abstract

Analysis of joints among major problems of design of steel structures. Research of actual behaviour of joints in steel structures is solved at the Institute of Metal and Timber Structures - Faculty of Civil Engineering - Brno University of Technology. The paper deals with two sub-questions of header plate connections - 1) actual behaviour of joints with high-strength steel, 2) modelling of joint using rotation and unfolding.
