Original Abstract

The DC flowing post-discharge was used for the experimental study. The active discharge was created in a Pyrex or quartz discharge tubes with a 120 mm electrode distance at current of 200 mA and pressure of 700 Pa. The lead vapor was introduced into the discharge tube just befo an active discharge. Significant quenching of all nitrogen band was observed proportionally to the lead evaporating power.
