Original Abstract

Increasing use of superplasticizers and fine additives, which have become a necessary part of designing widely used modern types of concrete, brings a question of decreasing values of elasticity modules of concrete. One of the modern types of concrete is Self Compacting Concrete, where the mix design changes are reflected in final characteristics of hardened concrete. The paper deals with relationship of composition of modified cement mortars and resulting values of rheological properties and elasticity modules. On the basis of observed development of behavior and selected tests results it is possible to determine corresponding properties of coarse-grained concrete.
