Original Abstract

The contribution deals with problems of an asynchronous drive system (asynchronous motor + pulse-width-modulated inverter) with a low voltage level for an electric scooter. The control algorithm optimising the drive efficiency is proposed. Some experiences of previous development of an electric bike were used to improve this algorithm. Parameters of the concrete asynchronous machine used in the scooter are mentioned. Basic parameters and measurement results of the previously constructed electric bike (digital regulation system as well as some practical experiences with using of that drive) are shown. The improvements supposed in the scooter are noticed.
