Original Abstract

This study is focused on the evaluation of boron cluster compounds identification by comparison of measured and computer modeled mass spectra. Mass spectrometry and tandem mass spectrometry proved to be very useful tool to this purpose, in spite of the fact that the identification was sometimes complicated by similarities between molecular weight of counter ion of ESI + and that of basic boron clusters skeletons in conjunction with unexpected hydrogen looses during mass spectrometric experiment.
