Original Abstract

The presented paper deals with the problems of the actual behaviour and of the load-carrying capacity of selected types of post-installed steel anchor elements to concrete. For the reason of this paper, results of the research realized at the workplace of the Department of Metal and Timber Structures of the Faculty of Civil Engeneering, Brno University of Technology were used. In particular, the actual behaviour in the loading process, the failure mechanisms and the corresponding load-carrying capacities for expansion and bonded anchors were investigated. From this point of view, the paper is orinted to the comarison of the results obtained for both anchor types based on the experimental results.
