Original Abstract

Abstract: Measurement system errors can be classified into two categories: accuracy and precision. Accuracy describes the difference between the measurement and the part's actual value. We focus to precision which describes the variation you see when you measure the same part repeatedly (by same or by other operators) with the same device by Gage R&R Study. Gage repeatability and reproducibility studies determine how much of your observed process variation is due to measurement system variation.
