Original Abstract

It was proved from experience gained at recent (and unfortunately frequently tragic) accidents in vehicular tunnels that dado tunnels are destructed very intensely by high temperature during fire. The material that is dominant in use for realization of dado vehicular tunnels is concrete, usually concrete applied by technology of air-placed concrete (mechanical plastering). The topic of this article is development of concrete mixtures designated for application technology of air-placed concrete so that this material was at a maximal rate resistant against action of extreme temperatures developed by fire. It is obvious that use of this kind of concrete is one of the ways how to increase fire safety of vehicular tunnels
