Original Abstract

An approximate method of partial characteristics (MPC) was used to evaluate radiation properties of air arc plasmas at the plasma temperatures in the range of 300 – 35 000 K and pressures from 1 to 10 bars. Radiation flux and net emission (divergence of radiation flux) were calculated for cylindrical arc plasma in simplified temperature profiles. In this paper we also analyze effect of molecular species on the radiation flux and net emission coefficient of radiation values.
