Original Abstract

This work describes an area of electrochemical detection of pollutants that are dissolved in water solutions. The screen-printed thick-film sensor was prepared to be suitable for working electrode modification by carbon based pastes. There were prepared several types of pastes for working electrodes such as graphite based pastes or carbon nanotubes based pastes. All the pastes were screen-printed or drop-coated on the working electrode substrate and used for measurement of cadmium in water solutions. The results of all prepared pastes responses were compared in a plot of calibration curves.
