Original Abstract

Concrete hydration is strongly exothermic process. During creation of inner concrete structure, large amount of energy is being liberated which results in thermal dilatation and internal strain which could be a reason for crack formation during hydration period. However, this hydration heat may, on the contrary, positively act during concreting process under lower temperatures
