Original Abstract

Second-order multifunction filter operating in current mode is described. It is designed from a general circuit with four impedances and two general current mirrors/inverters. The resulting filter contains current mirrors. These active elements offer high-frequency signal processing with good signal-to-noise ratio even at low supply voltages used in modern integrated circuits. The influence of the real properties of active elements on the frequency properties of the filter is analyzed by means of computer simulation. The functionality of the designed filter was proved by experimental measurement.
