Original Abstract

English abstract

This paper describes a structure of water jet outflowing from the highpressure nozzles. It deals with the flow pattern, the pulsation influence on heat transfer in the impact area, the intensity of dynamic action on the sprayed surface. Normal and pulse spraying modes of flat fan nozzles and solid jet nozzles were compared in the pressure range of 5 - 45 MPa. Pulsations were produced by high-frequency acoustic exciter. Photo images of individual water jets were taken. Owing to high outlet velocity about 300 m.s-1, the water jet was iluminated by the light sheet of pulsed laser. Images in incompress graphic file format were processed in Fourier transform. It was carried out some parameters from the frequency analysis, which enable comparing the water jet texture of individual nozzle.
