Záměrem projektu je výstavba dvou experimentálních místností v podkroví budovy D Ústavu pozemního stavitelství pro potřeby experimentálního měření tepelné stability místností, jejichž obalové konstrukce jsou tvořeny lehkými obalovými hmotami. Obě experimentální místnosti budou míst stejný obestavěný prostor i objem vnitřního vzduchu. Prosvětlení experimentálních místností je navrženo střešními okny, která budou orientována jihozápadním směrem. Jedná se v podstatě o výstavbu referenční místnosti a místnosti pro aplikaci dodatečných úprav vedoucích ke snížení tepelné zátěže vnitřního prostředí v letním období. Za stejných okrajových podmínek tak bude možné měřit parametry vnitřního prostředí v referenční místnosti a v místnosti, ve které budou prováděny stavební úpravy. Bude tak možné exaktně ověřovat vliv stavebních úprav obalových konstrukcí nebo případných clonících zařízení na vnitřní mikroklima.

We can see development of the attic houses in empty spaces in existing buildings especially in the centres of towns. For this kind of houses is often the using of the light-weight building materials for external and internal structures. There is a serious problem with overheating of rooms in hot and sunny days. Hence there is a necessary to use air-conditioning for the provision of required indoor air temperature. But we can improve the thermal comfort for inhabitans by special structures like sun shades or there is a possibility to increase heat storage capacity of the envelopes. For correct measurement and evaluation of structures and materials modification is necessary to have two identical rooms or spaces. First room in our project will be with common composition of envelopes, the second room will be with the same shape and size and has special envelopes for heat storage and there will be the potential application of sun shades for measurement of their influence.
