Original Abstract

To understand Nanotechnology, it is necessary to bring novel physical, chemical, biological, optical, electronic, magnetic and other phenomena and material properties together in the interdisciplinary approach to the science. The main target of presented new course on Nanotechnology is to convey the basic concepts of Nanoscience to Electrical Engineering students with almost no background in quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics. The paper describes an experience obtained in the organization of such course during last two academic years with 80 students.
