Original Abstract

The paper deals with problems of buckling in resistors of electric rail vehicles. The resistors are objects in that the electric power is expended during dynamic braking of these vehicles. The paper presents the results of experiments carried out on resistors in the laboratory conditions of the proving station in MEP Postřelmov and the results of computational modelling of buckling in metal sheets.
