Original Abstract

The method for 3D quantitative evaluation of ultrasound scanner is presented. The lateral, axial and transversal resolution is quantified by the means of Gaussian function fitting. The results are presented for specific ultrasound parameters.

Článek popisuje metodu pro kvantitativní 3D hodocení rozlišovací schopnosti ultrazvukových tomografů. Axiální, laterální a transverzální rozlišení je kvantifikováno pomocí aproximace Gaussovou funkcí.

English abstract

The method for 3D quantitative evaluation of ultrasound scanner is presented. The lateral, axial and transversal resolution is quantified by the means of Gaussian function fitting. The results are presented for specific ultrasound parameters.
